Saturday, December 18th from 8am–3pm we will be hosting Feed the Children in our new church home. Here are some links and information if you are interested in helping.
Feed the Children is a partnership between the El Paso County Department of Human Services, The Music Evangelism Foundation, Goodwill Industries and a long list of other donors and volunteers. It is a one day event just before Christmas where the poorest of the poor in our community are able to enjoy a day of celebration. Semi trucks loaded with food, toys, books and toiletries for the families are purchased from the Feed the Children Organization in Oklahoma and driven to Colorado Springs for the families. Last year more than 4,000 people in El Paso County were served and 525 volunteers enthusiastically gave up their Saturday.
